[ The recording captures the burgundy-skinned synthezoid touching his dog tags before android-like eyes rise up to meet the camera. He's hesitant at first, pressing his lips together as if unsure how to start until: ]

I am sorry for the disturbance. [ His fingers run over the cool metal ] These identification markers [ call them dog-tags! ]. Since I've been given one,  does this mean I'm allowed to move through the ship without prior approval?

[ There's a hint of hope that flickers through his eyes at that question. He's not entirely certain but from what he's gathered, it seems to be the case. Still, he prefers a direct answer rather than to assume. ]

[ Well. That's not a droid, per se, but it's probably not a human being either. Cassian is going to assume alien. ]

Yes and no. [ His accent is a little heavy; he's working, and he's tired, but hey. Dogtag questions are practically key questions, and holding the position of locksmith meant he should answer those, right? ] They won't get you into restricted areas of the ship, but you'll need them to get anywhere else.

[ You see, he has this little phasing habit. It concerns him considering he's never actually worn anything his entire life. ]

Moving freely through our confinements is hardly a privilege. [So bitter, but he won't be a dick.] Is there a particular part that captures your interest?

[ ooc: going to assume he already knows Thor is on-board and already had his little moment of encouraged relief. ]


[ It is for him. He's not exactly encouraged to leave the Avenger's compound on account of his.... stark appearance. ]

I'm afraid, I haven't done much exploring inside the ship.

[ But outside, Vision has spent a great deal of time out in space since his arrival. ]

There's not an awful lot to see, really. [Mostly because he's salty.] I'm sure a great many would find it impressive, but I've found it to be cumbersome thus far. There is little I find enjoyable about it at all.

I think that's what it means. Having one is one of the rules for living here.

What happens... if we lose them?

[ His fingers once more ghost over the tags, needing to make sure they're still there. ]

Well... they gave us two, and I guess maybe you could ask for another one if you lost them both? But try not to! They might want you to pay first or something.

[ His brows crease. ]

[ His brows crease unsure how to explain the complexity of his situation. ]

It is... a complicated matter.

[ fine, if he insists on video. here's dutch, arms crossed and eyebrows raised. ]

How so? [ but she uncrosses her arms to wave one hand dismissingly a moment later. ] None of us can really get far, anyway. No matter how free we are to move around here.

[ He looks down, surprised by the video feed, though he says nothing and quietly adds her to his memory banks. As for her question - there's a small pause on his end as he tries to put into words what he only knows through observations. ]

As you can see, I don't exactly... blend in.

[ No one has directly forbidden him to leave the Avenger's compound though he's not encouraged to leave either. Vision understands acceptance takes time. For the time being, he is content to allow humanity to come to terms with the variable he presents. Though, that doesn't seem to be the case here, which is the root of his question. [ In a sense he can get that. But, also, he just doesn't care anymore. Maine might be good at taking orders, but no one is the boss of him anymore. He's dead anyway. What does he have to lose? ]

[ wanda has her chin propped in her hand as she leans against a table, thoughtful, guarded, what you'd expect considering. she idly stirs her coffee. ]

I don't think you're allowed to phase wherever you'd like. You should knock.

[ The familiar voice draws his eyes down to the communicator. His lips pull into a small smile, glad to lay eyes on someone familiar. ]

Yes. [ A sheepish look. ] I will try to remember that.

Although. [ her mouth turns down in a thoughtful frown. ] Maybe without the identification they will not be able to stop you.

[ her shoulders lift in a shrug as if implying that is an option, but her shoulders hunch, protective, as she sets the spoon down and lifts her coffee. ]

I have not seen you in-- Some time.

They said something about it being required. [He's not that visibly bothered. It's been a few days so he calmed down. Hinata holds up the evelope he was handed during orientation.]

So it's probably safe to assume where ever they allow you access you're allowed to be.

[ It's not like he'll go phasing in to see but he'd like to know the whole situation. ]

Where they don't, we're not allowed. But, I couldn't tell you if they have restricted areas protected. I haven't been here very long.
