[visionarie]

[ The recording captures the burgundy-skinned synthezoid touching his dog tags before android-like eyes rise up to meet the camera. He's hesitant at first, pressing his lips together as if unsure how to start until: ]

I am sorry for the disturbance. [ His fingers run over the cool metal ] These identification markers [ call them dog-tags! ]. Since I've been given one,  does this mean I'm allowed to move through the ship without prior approval?

[ There's a hint of hope that flickers through his eyes at that question. He's not entirely certain but from what he's gathered, it seems to be the case. Still, he prefers a direct answer rather than to assume. ]

Me neither, until today! They make it really easy, though. We get these things called credits, and you use them instead of coins. The shopkeepers here can see how many you have and take the money out for you when you buy something. It's really convenient!

[He's still really excited about making his first-ever purchase by himself.]

[visionarie]

[ Vision would understand his excitement except he doesn't actually need anything. Still, his words have the effect of relaxing him, at least he's not alone in this new endeavor. ]

If I may, [ a curious look ] what did you buy?

A pair of gloves! I didn't really need them after all, but it was still kind of fun. And now I know what to do the next time I need to buy something, so I don't mind.

[visionarie]

[ Fun? He doesn't understand how, so he'll take his word for it. ]

What kinds of things can you buy?

[ You see, he doesn't actually need anything so the idea of buying something for himself is still foreign. ]

Well, if you look at the thing they put on your wrist and tap the right places there's a list of all the shops! There are places to get clothes of all kinds, and food, and candy, and who knows what else there could be?

[He's still swooning from the variety of it all. So excited.]

What sort of things did you have back home? I bet you could find something similar here!

[visionarie]

We had [ a moment ] a lot of electronic equipment. Tony.... [ his eyes slide down ] he supplied everything for us.

Tony? Do you mean the Tonyhawk guy who bothers people? He's such a jerk!

[He actually means Dave Strider, but he doesn't know that.]

[visionarie]

[ That explanation doesn't sound too far off from how he's heard others describe him. ]

Tony Stark. He is... someone I've known all my life.

[unluckynumberseven]

[Hawk? Stark? Maybe not the same person, then.]

I don't think I met a Tony Stark. Is he here?
