[ The recording captures the burgundy-skinned synthezoid touching his dog tags before android-like eyes rise up to meet the camera. He's hesitant at first, pressing his lips together as if unsure how to start until: ]

I am sorry for the disturbance. [ His fingers run over the cool metal ] These identification markers [ call them dog-tags! ]. Since I've been given one,  does this mean I'm allowed to move through the ship without prior approval?

[ There's a hint of hope that flickers through his eyes at that question. He's not entirely certain but from what he's gathered, it seems to be the case. Still, he prefers a direct answer rather than to assume. ]

There are some places we don't seem to be allowed. [ the bridge, mostly, and that sits badly with wanda because she wants to be free like a bird and able to go where she pleases and also how dare anyone try to keep her out. ]

I only arrived a short time ago.

I have been made aware by the crew. [ And complied without complaint. He understands the need to keep certain areas restricted. Logically speaking, it would make little sense to allow non-essential personnel into critical areas. ]

[ That answer has him silent for a moment as he pulled information from his memory banks, cross-referencing the knowledge he's gathered here with the events back on Earth. Wanda had not been missing from the premises for any length of time, which meant the possibility of her timeline differing from his was over 50%. For a moment, he looks troubled, unsure how to process that information. ]

I am sorry. [ He looks at her. ] This place does not seem to suit everyone. [ Especially if he considered the circumstances f their arrival. ]

It's not your fault and I'd rather not... be where I was. [ she doesn't like being brought here against her will, but it's not the raft. eluvio might not be what she'd prefer, but it's better than prison. ]
