You can be as specific or nonspecific as you like, really. A person, a place, a thing, a concept, a task. A belief. A dream.

Nothing.

I'm just curious, I guess.

Also, for those who don't wish to give out even vaguely personal information to unknown strangers in an unknown place: how many of you are from pre-spaceflight planets?

For me, many things await. Many battles, a challenge, fame, success... and death. I suppose that's the sort of list I would give you now.

Death awaits us all, I'm afraid. Something about the inevitability of living leads to it.

Half expected everyone to return with "revenge" as their answer, after giving it some thought. Everyone seems to be out for their own brand of it. But so far you've gotten death and material things

I come from Earth ... We've gotten as far as our own moon and touched a planet nearby called Mars.

Most people are unwilling to admit that they have intentions of harming others to perfect strangers, so that might have something to do with that particular detail.

You're the second to mention Earth, that's interesting.

We have space-flight to our moon, and a regularly staffed international space station. We haven't had a staffed flight to any other planet in our solar system to date.

( He can answer that first question too. He just doesn't. It aches; what he has is an ache and an understanding that regardless, life will go on. He's just not resigned or accepting of that yet. )
