What waits for you, back where you came from?
You can be as specific or nonspecific as you like, really. A person, a place, a thing, a concept, a task. A belief. A dream.
Nothing.
I'm just curious, I guess.
Also, for those who don't wish to give out even vaguely personal information to unknown strangers in an unknown place: how many of you are from pre-spaceflight planets?

Still, a beach sounds so nice. ♪ I wish I could go, too.

Well. It was awfully hot.

My health deteriorates quickly in the cold, but it likely wouldn't do too well in extreme heat, either. I wonder if I could find a happy medium beneath an umbrella~

One would hope, though there weren't any when I was there. Maybe it will have changed.
no subject
I hope so.
If you don't mind my asking, are you really a captain?

Fufu, but I know that heroes don't really exist. So why don't you tell me about who you really are?
[Why can't he text like a normal teen...]

I should hope I'm not a hero in a story.
[ He's gonna ignore. The rest of that. ]

You know, I should hope not either. After all, a hero isn't someone normal. They're murderers, covered in the blood of their victims, claiming it's justified. It's so disgusting that it makes me sick.
But you seem like a nice person, captain. Is that right?
no subject
I suppose I do seem like a nice person.

Saying I seem like a nice person is something like saying I am a nice person.

When you say "seem" back to me like that, it makes it sound like I shouldn't believe you. That's the difference, you see? For example, what if I were to say that a planet seems like it might have oxygen. Would you step out onto it? That would be quite the adventurous move. But if I were to say it has oxygen, you'd trust me a lot sooner~
no subject
I would rather you not call me Fufu. If you insist, I cannot promise I will respond to it.
You could tell me that it has oxygen, but is it enough oxygen? Are you lying? There are other things to consider before one becomes immediately trustworthy.

You're so serious, Captain. It was just a simulated scenario, and you're thinking of such realistic things~ But you are right. Normally, you'd look for every little detail before you can decide if someone can be trusted.

Being serious is one of those habits I don't seem to be able to break.
