[ When the feed click on, Tony manages to look annoyed and impressed all at once (you know, those emotions that he manages to bring out in other people pretty much all the time). He is sitting at a desk, the communicator propped up against something, and he has a small screwdriver (the micro kind) between his teeth as he speaks.]

So just how much shit am I going to get in if I try to take this apart and merge it with my Stark Phone? Not that I really care about how much shit I get in, but-- I mean, it is shiny new alien tech and you just gave it to me, you gotta know I'm gonna try taking it apart.

[ And figuring out ways to hack it. And make it better. And--

He takes the micro screwdriver out of his mouth and flashes a sharp smile.]

Also, as far as kidnappings go, this has gotta be one of the nicer ones, so no complaints here. Though I gotta know; anywhere I can get my hands on some more tools? Maybe a spare communicator, or three, or maybe an interface with the ship's core navigational systems...

[ That last one is said with only the slightest hint of 'I'm kidding' (because he isn't kidding, he is going to look for one no matter how much he has already been told 'NO', that's just like taunting him ok).]

Oh, and where might I find alcohol? Is that a thing in this section of space? I hope it is because I really don't want to try distilling my own shit again, that was a disaster the first three times and I really don't think I have managed to get better.

[just an image of a droid, blankly staring here. A flat bored tone as he speaks]

Is it really a kidnapping when we've come from impossibly different places? As for tools, there are some workshops that hold many of them. [And to demonstrate that, a hammer is lifted in his hand, and in disgruntlement, tossed to the side. He hates his job]

I think they have a bar here...

Is it really a good idea to try to interface with the core navigational systems?

And this ship seems to have everything. I work for a greetings card company. On a space ship.

And yeah, I'm really curious actually. Like extremely curious. I'm also a little afraid of sci-fi armageddon, and that sounds like the start of one of many sci-fi armageddon possbilities.

ah is this an alternate identity like in the ridiculous flimsy books that marco reads

[DROIDS really are better than humans in most ways. He would agree, in part. Though he happens to like his human.]

If it is premeditated, I would call it a kidnapping. If it just happens, is it still a kidnapping, or an incident of unknown origin?

[He picked up another tool and jabbed something on the desk, working on it with out looking, still looking at the video]

Their briefing seems to miss a few important points, or so I am told. I was given a Handyman job... [He SOUNDS insulted by it] ... so I have access to tools. There are shops. Tools are not hard to find.

[... and with less attitude now.] I am Kay-tuesso. You may call me Kay if that is easier for you to handle. Everyone else does.

Those are even out of style on Earth. That's really weird in space.

There's still time for those kinds of things. Plus it doesn't have to be a universe-wide armageddon. A miniature spaceship one would be just as concerning and maybe have less doom.

Or not. This is my first time on a spaceship. Probably why I keep preparing for the worst.

[ Ironman? Not a Cylon designation, but it could be one for another race of machines for all Sam knows. ]

Why would you want to have an interface with the ship's navigational systems?

[ Does that mean he can interface with them like a Hybrid? ]

that was meant to be a joke as the people in those books are named silly things like arachnid man i did not realize it was sometimes actually the case

marco is someone who reads ridiculous flimsy books where people are named silly things like arachnid man

[Says the alien whose name is borderline unpronounceable.]

[It's okay. He's bound to correct him at some point. It hasn't stopped him from correcting nearly everyone else...]

[He pauses at that though. He's given this one? You mean he wasn't arguing his valid point? Interesting. And then his own point. HMM. he lifted his own small screw driver, pointing it at the screen.]

And you can have that one. Though if this is an elaborate lie to cover up kidnappings, they do a very good job of it. Considering my crew is dead. [a pause...] And I was destroyed. They do very good work in their cover ups.

[Back to working like he never stopped.] Can you roller skate? [not, can you wait on people. No. Can you roller skate. It seemed a logical question.] I was built for security and enforcement and reprogrammed for other purposes, and here I am fixing house hold items. They take no actual thought in their pointless jobs.

[People seem very careful on wanting to know what HE wants to be called. He's not sure he cares, though...] I do not mind Kay. I am told it humanizes me a bit.

That's probably the most likely option. Do you get a lot of customers?

That's definitely weird. But I don't know, someone mentioned some kind of doom things. A planet was destroyed recently...

Yeah. I think I'm among the few who's never been to space? But yeah, it's nice not to be in a war this time.
