has anyone ever been to a different world or universe or whatever before ending up here, or just me?
are there any tornadoes in space? that's probably a silly question
but seriously, is there weather in space? they gave me a job as a weather girl

more importantly: has anyone seen a guy called lucas or roan and a little girl called sylvie around?

oh, and i'm a nurse, so if anyone needs help with injuries, well. there's probably some kind of medical service on board anyway, but if there isn't, feel free to come to me and i'll do what i can.

Really? In what way?

Yes, I am! After all, we do have a med bay on the Eluvio. I'm just finding a certain comfort in trusting in the skills of the newest arrivals, even when we're displaced from familiar surroundings.

( it's always nicer when one's dog comes along; in text, Makkachin doesn't show up, but in reality, Victor is not often without his dog when on board the ship. when he isn't, usually Yuuri is. )

Oh, it's one of the issues I've seen come up on board. Certain individuals with such conditions may have a habit of getting themselves in trouble.

It seems like it's likely to involve having been taken to another universe before; I'm not sure how much more insane you feel it will be, but I respect that. I'm happy to hear it, if you end up changing your mind.

( magic and space travel and universe crossing and world destruction and death stars leave him feeling more Broad Minded on a number of things. )

From what I understand, yes. Though I'm not sure if there's anything that could be improved upon, medication wise, given the differences between their time period and the one this ship belongs to, by all appearances.
genice: (smile | i noticed you watching?)

Tornado? Even more of a whirlwind than the anomalies, that had to be frightening.

( also hard to imagine; he can see the power behind such a thing, but bridging universes, ah. even more of a breach of his understanding of the world. )

I'd appreciate if you'd talk with him! Eichi Tenshouin.
genice: (huh | no really what)

I imagine any kind of structure able to take damage for you would be helpful.

Thank you.
genice: (smile | ahahaha...)

And with no safety restraints, either! I'm impressed, and a little terrified. Good work on... surviving?
genice: (serious | consider the costs)

I'd keep an eye on what's required on any "mission" asking after volunteers, but for the most part, people have found survival fairly manageable so far. I haven't experienced any critical system failures myself.

( FIVE DAYS LATER THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE )

When we were in orbit around Oros, there were a series of different missions planetside we were asked to volunteer for after an extensive vetting and interview process. "Extensive" might be relative; I haven't had to deal with structures like this before, but no training was involved.

Then you're aware of the remaining refugees onboard?
genice: (consider | quietly)

[personal profile] genice 2017-02-18 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! I'm one of the liaisons for the Fek. Which should be interesting, but if you're ever curious to meet them, it's something I'm able to help arrange. They're trying to acclimatize to life here. It's some intense culture shock.
genice: (serious | listening)

[personal profile] genice 2017-02-18 09:28 am (UTC)(link)
If you were willing to perhaps see about helping with some of their doctors dealing with finding what they need on ship? I'm not sure if doctor is the right word, but when it comes to anything medical and complicated, I'm not understanding what they're asking after. They have concerns about nutrition that I don't know how to address, or really understand.
genice: (curious | hmm?)

[personal profile] genice 2017-02-18 09:36 am (UTC)(link)
That's wonderful! I'll talk with the Fek and see when they'll want to do something like that, here in the next few weeks. Do you know what your schedule's going to be like?
genice: (consider | quietly)

[personal profile] genice 2017-02-18 09:48 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure anyone on ship even cares if people who are new show up to work or not, though it does help with getting paid... in that case, I'll get back to you when I have an idea of when the Fek want to meet.
genice: (wink | prince piglet)

It does tend to make affording food and changes of clothing much easier!
