has anyone ever been to a different world or universe or whatever before ending up here, or just me?
are there any tornadoes in space? that's probably a silly question
but seriously, is there weather in space? they gave me a job as a weather girl
more importantly: has anyone seen a guy called lucas or roan and a little girl called sylvie around?
oh, and i'm a nurse, so if anyone needs help with injuries, well. there's probably some kind of medical service on board anyway, but if there isn't, feel free to come to me and i'll do what i can.

[ but also, and locked because dorothy has found the option for that on her phone: ] what makes you say that they'd use it too much to their advantage?
no subject
Well, you learn quickly enough to have already found the lock function.
I just got back from a mission on planet.. let's just say if I was suspicious before naturally, it's worse now. Just keep your eyes and ears open and you should be fine. There are no imminent threats just yet, but. I have a suspicion that this place isn't exact as it's sold.

a mission on a planet?
no subject
Yes. It was called Oros and we were sent to retrieve a Relic. I take care to use 'was' as the planet is now a thermonuclear wasteland, and the Trilk and Fek you will meet on this ship are that planet's only survivors.
They're quadrupeds, so you'll notice them I'm sure.

shit

My words exactly.
To be clear : The bombs were not dropping by this ship, they were already on planet. However I refuse to think that there was no prior knowledge of their existence. That many tons of nuclear power doesn't just go unnoticed.

When we dropped the security array to retrieve the Relic it allowed for their detonation. Once a nuclear chain reaction begins there's really no stopping it, especially in the shape of bombs. So once it began, there was no stopping it, unfortunately.

That's still something I'm waiting to find out. I'm sure the information will come along sooner than later.

Technically, yes. Nuclear holocaust was never part of the plan we knew, though.

Have you found the Encyclopedia Eluvio yourself? Or is the new run down for arrivals much more informative than the one I received?

That's part of the goal, now, in being here - to figure it out.
Let's say I've at least partially done this before, in a different place.

Telling you the entire story of what happened in my home city via text message would take hours.
Let's just keep it simple and say there were many secrets and things to be uncovered, and my grandfather and doctor quickly regretted making me so intuitive.

Fellow citizens of Romdeau city were all made with very specific purposes and personality traits in mind.. my doctor controlled everything from building my DNA to my birth.

I'd be more shocked if it was familiar to you honestly. It's not a bad thing to not have that same experience by any means

I'm not sure. I lived in great luxury despite everything else going on in the world around me, where others living out in the wastelands had to scrounge to live.
So in a way, yes, in retrospect, but in another way, no.
