Others have been mentioning dates of birth and so I was wondering: what do your people do in order to celebrate the day someone is born, or named, or comes into their own?

Also, how do your people celebrate the lives that have ended?

Then as you'd already understand, it's the Day of the Dead.

A day where people from my culture would take to remember those who have passed on, and celebrate the life they did live.

Belief in the afterlife and all--You only live a good afterlife if you're remembered.

The traditional 'day' for it is on the Earth Lunar Calendar. October 31st. Though, the celebration often lasts until three days later.

Holidays aren't timed conveniently. What a tragedy.

Why, are you looking to find a special way to mourn the loss of someone or something?

Then what should be even more obvious is that you don't need to have a specific date to look back on the life of those who passed on.

Throw some flowers out an airlock or set up a memorial in your room or something.
