Others have been mentioning dates of birth and so I was wondering: what do your people do in order to celebrate the day someone is born, or named, or comes into their own?

The newly born and the dead seem to handle their parts without anything special, but the rest need rituals and ceremonies during those times. I think I'd rather have a drink and stargaze instead.

That kind of drink is best on a warm night with the cicada singing and the full moon illuminating Shangri-la. If we ever cross paths with my home world, I'll have to show you.
