Others have been mentioning dates of birth and so I was wondering: what do your people do in order to celebrate the day someone is born, or named, or comes into their own?

Also, how do your people celebrate the lives that have ended?

It's not always easy to hold nothing, especially when you aren't given a choice.

This feels unbalanced. I keep expecting some kind of counterweight to drop.

I'll be watching. I picked something up that threw me off, so I need to find my own balance before I can do much else.

Maybe a Captain can do better than a Sanzo. You don't weigh quite as much.

Many things. Some plants, a few hobbies, a strange Orosian animal that lives in my room, a heavier burden of karma.

He's dead. More dead that most, maybe.

Karma is the accumulation of your choices, more or less. It's a very simple complicated concept.

I'm old and long dead if you were to ask a boy I met. That's less dead than someone that dies here, isn't it? Well, maybe not, but it seems that way.
