I hope no one minds answering this: What languages did you speak or write back in your world/galaxy/universe/etc? If you have the time, could you also write out the alphabet of the languages you know and attach a picture of them in your reply?

I recently found out that a language I know matches up with someone else's, and we aren't even from the same galaxy. It could be interesting to see if any others are the same. I don't know if this information will be useful later on, but I'm going to keep a record of it all just in case.

That would be great. I've been needing to brush up, and that "good thing" is why.

Because if I didn't go I'd die along the rest of the planet. IT'S A LONG STORY, I'm sorry. I know it sounds weird.

It's more alarming than weird, to be honest. What happened?

[ninponeil]

Even saying "a lot" wouldn't cover it. There were these two warring alien races and one of them was trying to change earth into a new planet for them, but the atmosphere isn't inhabitable for humans. The other alien race found out and tried to wipe them out with a black hole, earth itself included.

...yeah. I'm reading what I wrote and I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense. But I guess that's what you get when a race of brains and a race of triceratons go to war.

Did everything turn out okay in the end? Earth didn't get wiped out by the black hole, right?

It did right after I got on board. We went back in time six months to stop it though, so no. Not the second time. If that makes sense...

I'm sorry, it's such a mess. My life's just really, really weird.

You went back in time?? That's actually possible?

It's okay, it's not your fault. It sounds like everything worked out in the end, even if it all got really complicated.

Totally possible. If you have the right equipment I guess.

Yeah, it really did for once. Except for the whole ending back in space again thing. But you're getting know how that is, huh?

Is that what happened after Earth was saved? You ended up staying in space?

I bet your martial arts training came in handy when you were fighting off those aliens.

Sure did, and I got to learn how to use a laser/ray/zappy gun!

One time in space was enough for me. I stayed back on earth and really got back into my training, even got promoted up in class.

And now, more space. Yay.

At least you have some experience with it.

Even with the fighting, too. I hope we won't need to know any of it. Do you think there's a chance we'd run into trouble like that while we're on the Eluvio?

Probably. Alien races can be pretty hostile to off worlders.

Like put a galactic-bounty-on-your-head kind of hostile.

As for the others in the Eluvio, well, I haven't met everyone else yet. So I hope they're as friendly as you've been.

Galactic bounty? I'm sensing there's a story behind that one.

I think so. Some are even friendlier. I haven't really run into trouble with anyone on board yet.

Well let me know if you do. [She's got your back.] The only reason we got a bounty was because some powerful bug alien crime lord just because we bumped into him. Okay, more like collided into. But it was an accident.

Moral of the story? Be very cautious with aliens. Some of them can be really touchy.

Noted. I’ve only been in space for a couple weeks. I really wouldn’t want a bounty on my head already.
