I hope no one minds answering this: What languages did you speak or write back in your world/galaxy/universe/etc? If you have the time, could you also write out the alphabet of the languages you know and attach a picture of them in your reply?
I recently found out that a language I know matches up with someone else's, and we aren't even from the same galaxy. It could be interesting to see if any others are the same. I don't know if this information will be useful later on, but I'm going to keep a record of it all just in case.
I'll send a copy of the file to anyone who wants it later. Thanks.

I guess there's a few of us here. [Japanese, she means.] I'm from the Aomori region, originally. Up in the mountains. You're Japanese too? I didn't want to assume just on the name alone.
[The username could've meant anything, after all, since not everyone used a real name]

Yes. I'm from Hasetsu. It's a little city in Kyushu.

Kyushu! That's pretty cool. Were you near the sea? What was it like? [She's curious, okay. 'Hasetsu' means nothing to her, but that's not really surprising, she can't be expected to know every city]
sorry for the wait!
We're right next to the sea! Hasetsu's really quiet nowadays, but it used to be known for all its hot springs resorts. What about Aomori?
np, sorry for it on my end too!
Hmm, I guess it's popular for people who like the occult and stuff... I used to live in Mutsu with my mom and sister, where Mount Osore is. You know, the mountain that's supposedly the entrance to hell? But we moved to Aomori city when my sister and I were little. It's nice, I guess. It has its hot springs too-- Asamushi Onsen and Sukayu Onsen are probably the most well-known.
It snows a LOT.
you're fine!
Wait what do you mean people who like the occult?

You know, thrill-seekers, mostly, I guess. There's a lot of weird stories and people disappear sometimes. People say they see spirits.
Near where I used to live, there was a story about a village that disappeared off the map on the eve of an ancient ceremony and anyone who got lost wandering the forest would be spirited away there.
Don't most places have supposedly haunted areas people want to check out?

Oh, that. It sounds pretty normal to me. We have some well known haunted spots like that in my world's Japan, too.
Now that we've been taken by anomalies ourselves, I'm wondering if that's what happened in those cases, too.
