I hope no one minds answering this: What languages did you speak or write back in your world/galaxy/universe/etc? If you have the time, could you also write out the alphabet of the languages you know and attach a picture of them in your reply?
I recently found out that a language I know matches up with someone else's, and we aren't even from the same galaxy. It could be interesting to see if any others are the same. I don't know if this information will be useful later on, but I'm going to keep a record of it all just in case.
I'll send a copy of the file to anyone who wants it later. Thanks.

I've been asking around about the people who came before us, and I think I've found a few on board with us. I can send you their information if you would like.
Just don't get your hopes up about learning anything really new. They didn't have much to say about the anomalies like I was hoping.

A series of things. Before I was even born, I think, my dome stole the proxy of another dome, named Mosk. Proxies gave life to the domes in a very literal way - they were something like Gods left behind to sustain us in the wasteland until humans came back to Earth. Ours had run away, for his own reasons I suppose, and so they thought to bring him back by bringing the object of his affections, Monad, Mosk's proxy, back to our own dome. As a result, Mosk, of course, died. If what I've gathered is also correct... Monad at some point died, and so my doctor took it upon himself to create clones of her, each of them imperfect - even me - as an attempt to lure him back.
It worked in a round about way, I suppose, he came back, though without his memories and therefore completely ignorant of what he was supposed to do or be. And, right before the end, Daedalus got his perfect clone and named her Real.
Real / Re-L.. get it?
There were also immigrant programs that forced citizens of Mosk fleeing to Romdeau to divest themselves of every tie to Mosk, therefore not only wiping it off the map but out of memory and history, too. If an immigrant did not conform, or a fellow citizen left the dome and attempted to come back, or the security structure caught you doing something you shouldn't? Typically the offenders were summarily executed.
I suppose I got a stay of sentence in that I wasn't shot but instead an assassination was attempted.
It would've looked bad if the Regent's Granddaughter died any other way, right? I went outside to retrieve Vincent Law and came back too open-eyed for their liking - I knew too much and I knew that people lived outside, it was not a lawless utter wasteland as I had always been told.
It was essentially a dome full of ego and lies - not very surprising.

I'm sorry. That sounds horrible.
I don't know how similar the situation here will be, but we should definitely keep an eye out for anything strange. If they're hiding anything on that level, it'll have to come out eventually, right?

It is what it is. I haven't really had time to dwell on any of it since it fell and all - surviving outside is much different than surviving in the dome.
Eventually, yes. But it won't hurt to get a little leg work of our own in if we can rather than waiting for it to come out and in to the open.

I've been trying to ask around the ship in case I come across anything, but that's about all. I've never been in a situation like this before.

Let's just say I have some experience with dodging security structures. I'll see what I can get myself in to (safely) when I get back from this planet drop mission.

Please be careful when you're on the mission and when you're investigating here, too!
no subject
No worries there, I'll try my best. There are people to go back to in my world, after all.
no subject
Which mission did you volunteer for?
no subject
The planet drop. I've been assigned to the Beta team, so we will be invading the base.

Not that I remember, no.
sorry for the wait!
He's being awfully reclusive, isn't he?
no biggie :)
Suspiciously so. Though it's always a chance that the captain thinks he is above meeting those who have appeared on his ship.
We'll have to work on that. Promptly.

Hey, do you think we're allowed to talk about what happens on our missions?
[He's not really sure what the rules are supposed to be, and while he's doing some snooping around, he also doesn't want to cross a line somewhere either.]
no subject
Not sure on that front. I haven't been given any instructions not to talk about it as of yet.
no subject
Do you want to check in with each other after our missions are over? I think it could help if we all sort of have an idea what went on down on the planet.
no subject
Well, only if it's actually applicable to anything. It's also important to make sure that you have some cards to yourself ... this place could be one huge poker game ad you'd never know it until it's too late.
Yes, that would be a good thing to do, I think.

You said your name was Re-L, right? I'm Yuuri. Let's keep an eye out for each other and find a time to meet up once we're back on Eluvio again.
no subject
Yes, Re-L Mayer.
I will send you a message when I'm back on the ship and able, if it comes down to that.
no subject
I already said it before, but stay safe when you're down on Oros. I'll talk to you again soon.
