My feelings, exactly. I blame my failure on my world's heartbreaking lack of spaceships; it's so much harder to try to hack into technology that doesn't exist in your world, after all. Was it your first time, too?

I've had to get into ships before, so that wasn't so new. The tech is different, of course; different points of origin and all that.
