[ ooc note: congratulations! every user that views this message now has the embedded option on their devices to mark conversations as "private"* on the network, effectively encrypting the messages in whatever format between the sender and specified recipients.
if your character can read Aurebesh or is a hacker, feel free to have discovered the image is effectively a virus that is self-replicating through the network but only has this particular feature. Also hackers can feel free to discover that Cassian is the source of this protocol!

Besides he knows nothing about Russian spies. ]
It was, in fact, his idea.
I would need a basic calendar for the system, for starters.

One of many reasons why he's as loveable as he is.
I have the basic calendar. It's based on a three year 365 day rotation, 24 hours to a day, 7 days to a week, roughly 4 weeks to a month, 12 months to a year. Every fourth year gains an extra day to make up for the rotational difference in not following a lunar calendar. I can have that all written up and forwarded to you if that's what you need.
( actually Victor why are you telling Cassian that Yuuri's loveable when you have yet to directly tell Yuuri this
oh right
because you think Yuuri already knows )

How long have you and Yuuri been together?
[ He's assuming, but. Loveable. ]

I'll get that write-up to you and Kay by the end of the day. Thank you again! You're invaluable.
( Victor is so happily, blindly in love. This is a large part of why he'd been so heartbroken when he arrived; first for leaving Yuuri to face the competition he'd promised to guide him through on his own. Then as the reality sunk in, never getting to see him again, never seeing any of the people or places that were so much a part of his life he hadn't even realised how much there was to miss until there was no option to see them at all... well. It's hardly unique here. It'd still been painful. (Still is, too.) But he has Yuuri. He has no idea how, he's not questioning the why. He has this second chance to stay by his side, and he's not throwing that away for anything. )

You're welcome! I don't know about invaluable but I am glad to help.

I think that says enough right there, doesn't it? You're willing, able, and acting. That's invaluable.
( he means it literally; there is no value to put on that kind of willingness to take action and follow through. )

Step one: read and re-read.
Step two: frown in a mix of confusion and honor.
Step three: ??? ]
Thank you.
