Others have been mentioning dates of birth and so I was wondering: what do your people do in order to celebrate the day someone is born, or named, or comes into their own?

Also, how do your people celebrate the lives that have ended?

You could always throw a party with five friends and share the cake. Unless you want it all to yourself.

I'm sure five, eager and adoring fans would be delighted if i reached out and blessed them with some of my birthday cake.
But.. i suppose it will depend on what kind of cake it is. If it is my favorite, then possibly not.

I'm going to give you some advice you are welcome to ignore: you'll make more friends if you don't call them eager and adoring fans.

That's complicated, because most people I interacted with never knew who I really was.

I strive to be worthy of the few friendships I possess.

Often, but our situations are very different, I'd imagine.

I suppose certain circumstances and lifestyles could affect something like that.
Though, you mentioned a "few friendships" ... isn't that lonely for you?

Unlike you I did not grow up with the built-in comradery of a large family.

Besides, some of my friends are here.
