I'm gonna hazard a guess that time travel is sci-fi where you come from.

We have some. Not so much travel as temporal manipulation, but I've seen equipment that can stop or reverse time within the space of a few minutes.

you ever heard of a sario rip, is it anything like that?

Insane and makes it a bitch to beat the guy with that equipment in combat. I've never heard of your sario rip but I'm going to guess it's some sort of space-time disturbance?
