We’ve all been told about the anomalies; I got the welcome package same as everyone else, I assume. But I’m wondering — is this still the same galaxy? The same universe? Before I came here, I was falling through a wormhole.
[ for a moment, his expression shifts from neutral to something sad, almost pained. it doesn’t last very long. he wishes he knew where the rest of his team was, whether they’re all right. at least allura is here, but pidge, keith, hunk and lance? he can only hope they're okay, and the forced inactivity doesn't sit well with him. ] I come from a planet called Earth, but I recently learned that there are a lot of space-faring races in the galaxy and that most of the galaxy has already been taken over by the Galra.
Does any of this sound familiar?

I'm worried too, but I have hope that the Galra do not know where they are. And, I don't know how, but Coran is out there too, somewhere. I trust that if anyone will find them, it will be him.
[THOUGH HOW considering she has the Castle-ship somehow??? who knows, she doesn't understand it.]

As of now, we have each other, the Castle, and the Black Lion. [a pause, and there's the sound of something squeaking off-camera] And the mice, of course.
It's a comfort knowing we aren't alone, and that you and the Black Lion are safe.
[especially considering the last time she saw Shiro, she had to rescue him from that Galra witch.]

It's good having a familiar face on board, despite the circumstances of our being here. And I'm glad that you've decided to stay on the Castle-ship.
[aka it was feeling large and empty to the point where she wondered if she should start staying on the room given to her in the Eluvio. but it's selfish of her to say.]

My quarters are there. [ they may have assigned him a room in the eluvio, but — it's not the same. at least this is something they can choose. ]

And with the Black Lion you will not have to rely on the shuttle system to take you to and from the Eluvio as well. I'm a bit jealous.

I'll be sure to check that the training facilities on the ship are in order as well, assuming you'll want to make use of them. Oh! And perhaps I'll bring some flowers back from work, to make it feel [like home...] a bit less empty.

[ that's as much as he's willing to say on the matter. he knows how to use the prosthetic, it's not that he hasn't ever shaken anyone's hand with it or touched someone casually, clasped a shoulder — but it isn't part of him. it's galra and with haggar's voice still ringing in his ears, it feels more foreign than ever. ]

Well...if you haven't yet, feel free to make use of all the usual facilities on the Castle-ship. I haven't checked if the Gladiator is in working order, but everything else in the training deck is functional.

Oh! I've also grown fond of this drink called a fruit "smoothie" and they can come in a variety of colours and flavours. I could pick that up for you as well.

I could also take Black over to the ship and we can go to the market together. Then you won't have to take a shuttle.

And both you and Black should remain in the Castle. I don't mind using the shuttle system, and you need to recuperate.
