There's quite a few of us who are new arrivals, yeah? I'm told we should make ourselves comfortable and get to know our neighbors. It's been eight months since I last really moved anywhere, so hello! My name is Victor Nikiforov. If any one of you feels like discussing our new location or occupations or anything else, please join me for a drink!

[ He even includes a ping for the bar he's at. Conversations up to this point have been anything but promising. So here he is. In space. Surrounded by space people. Talking to other "we did not want to end up in space, probably" people. ]

Also, three questions! Who is fond of dogs, is there anything like Instagram on these, and who knows anything about figure skating?

MY NAME IS NEKOMARU NIDAI, AND I'M THE SUPER HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL TEAM MANAGER!!!

As for your questions... I happen to be quite fond of dogs. I don't anything about an 'Instagram', and I'm not too handy with this sort of technology in general. And I do happen to know quite a bit about figure skating! I've coached a skater in the past.

Nice to meet you, Nekomaru Nidai. What a fun coincidence! I was most recently coaching a figure skater as well. What level were you coaching on?

As for the question about dogs, I'll repeat what I asked someone else. Would you ever be up for dog walking or watching if it was needed? I don't think it will, but it's good to know who might be willing in case it ever is.

You are, huh? Now that's great! It's good to meet someone else who knows about handling athletes. All of my managing work is done at the interscholastic level, but those who learn under me quickly surpass me, and that figure skater was no exception!

I'm honored that you'd ask such a question of me, when we've just started knowing each other! [He'll try not to cry on his communicator.] Of course, I would be honored to take on a task like that! In fact, if there were enough dogs involved, I would train them to act as a dog sled team, free of charge!

[ His coaching has definitely been a work in progress, but he does like to think he's been getting better at being a good coach for Yuri, not simply existing and being called a coach, only half really there. So, handling athletes... to an extent, sure. ]

May they have gone on to great success.

A dog sled team?

[ He's surprised into laughing, sending back a photo he'd shown Mio first, of Makkachin the standard, chocolate, puppy-cut poodle sitting up and lifting one paw higher, as if he's waving at the camera on VIctor's cue. ]

Makkachin enjoys the snow, it's true, but I don't think he's quite right for sled dog material! Thank you for being willing. Both to watch, and to retrain him to new and exciting things.

[ However please do not train his dog to these new and exciting things? ]

I've yet to work with an athlete who hasn't ended up facing a bright future! That's how I ended up becoming the Super High School Level Team Manager.

...I do agree with your assessment of Makkachin. Only certain breeds have true sled dog potential after all. But it was an amusing thought, wasn't it? LOL

But don't you worry, Victor!! Sled or no sled, if you ever need someone to look after your dog, know that you can count on Nekomaru Nidai!!

Isn't Makkachin the cutest? I just want to squeeze his fur by his cheeks, he's so adorable!

[ The fact that talking about his dog like this helps to distract him from the things that actively worry him and he can do nothing about is a large percentage of why he'll dote on him on network instead of saying anything of deeper importance.

... Granted, he'd dote on his dog anyway, because that's what Victor does. Still. ]

It is! Probably even fluffier. You should meet him to learn for yourself!

Let me think... how is later this "week?" I think we still have weeks. We have day and night cycles... how many cycles are in a week?

( Writing these all out reminds him to ask someone when he gets around to it. Hm... )

Beats me! I'm hoping it's still seven sets, for the sake of convenience, but I admittedly know little about the ways of outer space.

Maybe it will be easier to say in three or four day cycles!
