[TEXT] UN: STOPMESSAGES
A number of things.
First, I want to know how many people are familiar with ninja and the shinobi world.
Second, I’m interested in increasing my knowledge when it comes to the technology on the ship.
Third, in connection with the second point, is there a way to stop others from being able to send messages to your communicator? Stopping all of them temporarily would also be acceptable.
[ That's it, Sasuke's first message, no name attached and no hint of an introduction in sight. Still, it's downright personable for him. ]

Yes, I rather suspected that would be true. Which is why the romance is a nice little fiction, and only a fiction.
Good to know. Interesting, too, since I think I've only run into a handful of different world language crosses like that? One for English, too, which is a primary language or secondary language in several nations on my homeworld.
( He had to ask okay HE NEEDED TO KNOW FOR SURE )
no subject
Are you disappointed?
And is English the most commonly spoken and written here?
no subject
It isn't. I'm not sure what is, but I'd say you'll find that while a number of people speak and write English, there's also a number who speak and write in Japanese, or in the language from your world that seems to be a close cousin. It's a good thing our comm units have their own power sources, but it makes me wonder what happens if something interferes with those?
no subject
It's easier to talk about than his world, anyway, a longer pause following before he eventually sends a follow-up text. ]
I don't know that my experience makes for a good story. I'd rather hear yours.

If it's lessons, then we should establish a schedule.

no subject
My schedule is also open; I can move my own training around as needed. The only thing set in stone is unavailability between 1400 and 1500. [ That... is his nap time. ]
no subject
You have a nap time. )
Mornings then. Makkachin will appreciate the walk before and after! There's a few decent places out in the atrium to meet that still are semi-decent even with systems down, if that works.
no subject
Fine. I'll bring writing instruments.
But be more specific than "mornings".
no subject
0600-0700 ♥
( like he said, mornings! )

Lose the heart.
no subject
Hearts don't sway so easily. ♥
Also, commands and demands tend to go over less well than requests.
no subject
They're fickle enough if they're showing up this early. Don't be late tomorrow.

( says nothing about nagging, since he only remembers to on occasion, and moreso... Sasuke you've earned it apparently )
no subject
Describe yourself so you're easy to find.
no subject
Sasuke he's not sexting you okay wowVictor, practical in nature more often than people realise, cuts out the whole description middleground and simply takes a snapshot of himself waving at the camera, Makkachin draped over his shoulders, curious what Victor's up to. )
The photo function on these tends to work better than simple descriptions in words! Now you'll know for sure.
no subject
He stares down at the first photo he's been sent yet, seeing... exactly what he'd expected, really, someone who appears far too peppy for the situation. The living embodiment of too many exclamation points. ]
Fine, it'll do. I'll find you.
no subject
Victor gives his comm a thumbs up, which does nothing, since it's not a live feed. Soooo he types out a response: )
Sounds like a plan. See you tomorrow!
no subject
Yeah. Fewer exclamation points.
no subject
Also cute he has a nickname from the ninja already.
CLEARLY THAT'S WHAT "Fewer exclamation points" means. Since there's no please. It must be a nickname. (smile) )
