There have been three violent deaths aboard since the blackout, two confirmed of people the anomalies had recently brought in. We don't have much information [ read: we aren't getting much. shiro assumes the crew must know more, or at least has better resources to find out more. ] but I think it's in all our best interests to figure out what is going on. Who or what is behind this.

I'm not much of a detective myself, but maybe someone here is and has experience with this kind of thing? Maybe we have doctors or scientists who can look at what little evidence we have and figure out what could be behind this.

And I don't want to scare anyone unnecessarily, but until we know what's going on, it might be a good idea not to wander the Eluvio alone, unless you know how to defend yourself.

On that note, I'm offering self-defense classes, starting today at 1300hrs. [ he doesn't know if that will help at all against someone or something that can rip arms clean off, but — he can't just do nothing. ]

I have a little bit of experience in investigation and I'm willing to help if necessary. I don't want to see anybody else die.

I don't know if I'll be any good at learning self-defense, but... if it means that I can help others, then I'd be willing to go. Can you tell me where it will be held, exactly?

Self-defense would primarily be to defend yourself, but it can help you help others, too. But don't put yourself in any undue risk, please.

Even so, it will probably make it so that people won't have to worry about me too much. Every little bit helps, after all.
