There have been three violent deaths aboard since the blackout, two confirmed of people the anomalies had recently brought in. We don't have much information [ read: we aren't getting much. shiro assumes the crew must know more, or at least has better resources to find out more. ] but I think it's in all our best interests to figure out what is going on. Who or what is behind this.

I'm not much of a detective myself, but maybe someone here is and has experience with this kind of thing? Maybe we have doctors or scientists who can look at what little evidence we have and figure out what could be behind this.

And I don't want to scare anyone unnecessarily, but until we know what's going on, it might be a good idea not to wander the Eluvio alone, unless you know how to defend yourself.

On that note, I'm offering self-defense classes, starting today at 1300hrs. [ he doesn't know if that will help at all against someone or something that can rip arms clean off, but — he can't just do nothing. ]

I don't know. But given that people have died, and clearly not of natural causes, we'd better be safe than sorry, at least until we know more about what's going on.

I was an investigator back in the dome. I can help as best I can, though from what I've heard from those who have discovered bodies.. or well, body parts.. things are usually cleaned up very quickly and without much attention brought to them.

I also know of a doctor that could be helpful if he'd like to be.

I'm proficient enough that I think I can teach basics to semi-advanced things. If you're very advanced, you probably don't need instructions by me.

I worked in the Investigations division of the military back home. It's not exactly a detective since mainly we dealt with investigating court-martials, but I was part of the team assigned to look into a wanted serial killer back home as well.

I have been keeping tabs on what people report over the networks, unfortunately I haven't had a chance to actually examine a crime scene yet or go off of much beyond what I'm reading via other's reports.

But, if you need me, I'll be there.

All I can offer is assistance if you find yourself with many students. Teaching mindfulness, if nothing else, may help prevent more murders.

It's all very unsettling, to say the least.

Leave what digging there is to do to me, if you feel comfortable. If there are too many waves made the captain and crew will inevitably know and that can spell disaster. As much as this kind of thing can stay under the radar, the better it will be.

Hand to hand. I can find my way around most firearms, too, but I was thinking of training people in hand to hand.

And that's what I was thinking. That we pool our resources and knowledge as much as possible to figure this out.

i agree. we have a problem in that the areas were cleaned after the discoveries, and i don't exactly get the impression the staff are willing to share forensic pathology reports

That would be good. If you know how to fight, keep your eyes open in case you see anyone attacking someone, too, but don't put yourself in any undue risk.

I don't think you're wrong. And that is a problem, but maybe something can still be learned from the people who've discovered the scenes, from gathering information, that kind of thing. I'm reaching, here, because I'm not much of a detective myself.

That's a good suggestion. Are you willing and trained to do that?
