[yokunaru]

[Abruptly, there's the sound of blades cutting through ice coming from the communicators as the figure skater on screen does a quick lap around what appears to be an ice rink. Then, there's a shift in his center of gravity before he's jumping, landing a triple axel with ease. The air of grace disappears as soon as the figure skater catches sight of the camera pointed at him.]

Viktor! [Some might recognize Yuuri's voice before he glides closer, a look of dismay on his face.] You said you weren't recording yet!

Ah, but Yuuri! You were skating so wonderfully, I couldn't resist! [Viktor doesn't sound apologetic, but as the image shifts, he comes on screen, smiling at the camera and holding up his free hand to wave.] Hello, friends of the Eluvio! Yuuri and I wanted to extend you a formal invitation to Eluvio's skating rink, the Ice Palace.

[Yuuri, apparently having resigned himself to delivering the message this way, just sighs with exasperation as he reaches Viktor at the side of the rink.] Um, we're going to be hosting a short exhibition show on Valentine's Day, too. Viktor thought it'd be a good idea, since a lot of people onboard haven't seen figure skating before. And there's going to be food...? [He trails off, looking at Viktor for confirmation.]

[Viktor nods to confirm, flashing another smile.] Horderves and shaved ice. No chocolates! You'll have to make or bring your own. [This last part said with a wink as he brings his finger up to rest against his lips.]

[Viktor's comment makes Yuuri pause.] Actually, about the chocolates, has anyone managed to find a store that sells chocolate molds? I've been looking all over the Shopping Centre for them. [Then, he remembers why they're making the video in the first place, and he blushes as he steers himself back on track.] A-anyway, please come join us for the exhibition! You're welcome to come earlier and see the rink for yourself before then, too.

[With that, he'll give a shallow, polite sort of bow before reaching over to turn the camera off.]

Maybe there's something for chocolates in particular there.

I haven't gotten worse. You can't really tell if you're better for at least a few weeks.

Is he planning on skating one soon? When that day comes, I'll owe you both a performance, as well.

( Ah, that; he actually slows down, heaving a melodramatic sigh, hand pressed over his heart. He affects an element of hurt in his voice: )

I thought you were just embarrassed the whole time... I was very hurt, you know? "Victor, you messed up." Which was confusing when I'd believed I'd been invited...

( If Yuuri glances back, Victor has the back of his hand to his forehead in a gesture of resignation, eyes looking up. He goes from that into a spin, arm tucked in close then coming out before he kicks his leg back and serpentines his way out of said spin. Dramatics on ice, but a smile that tugs at his lips in the interim. Messing around just feels so good. )

Gahaha! [He can't help but laugh teasingly at how flustered Yuuri looks. But his attention is also diverted by Yuuri's question.]

I never told you? That's right! And I'm not just any team manager... I'm the Super High School Level Team Manager!

[nodyinteam]

The exhibition would be less exciting if I were the only one to skate in it, so I'd say that's quite soon, yes!

Meaning you will probably not wish to spend time like a baby deer with your legs going every direction when you first get on the ice, I understand. Learning curves are daunting!

Okay, I'm curious. What kind of reactions do you think they'd have?

We'll probably be busy practicing the next few days, but we're opening the rink up to everyone after the exhibition. Why don't we stick around and skate with you then?

[He does glance back, just in time to catch that bit of ridiculousness. Yuuri comes to a stop, both hands pressed over his mouth as he laughs.]

I still can't decide if I was better off forgetting all of that happened or not. [A quick glance at Viktor, and a soft smile.] I sort of wish I'd remembered dancing with you, though. The rest I don't mind forgetting.

[Especially the pole dancing... he can never think of those pictures without turning into a tomato.]

There were a couple in the lower levels, but all they had were the cookie cutters. [Yuuri eyes the row of shops in front of them with trepidation.] They should really have a directory of some kind. It'd make everything a lot easier.

[That worried look doesn't lessen at all.] You'll let us know if you think something's wrong, right?

[yokunaru]

You mentioned your classmates and, um, the bear, but we were sort of busy with Makkachin at the time... what does Super High School Level even mean?

[He's just going to ignore that laugh for his own sake. Nekomaru, not you, too!]

It's a sport that people compete in.

And it's a lot of fun. Would you like to join us, Ax?

I see! That's true, Makkachin was the higher priority... In a situation like that, even I'd let slip about the details.

I guess your world might not have Hope's Peak either. It's a prestigious school that accepts only the high school students who are the most talented in their respective fields. Those who possess 'talent' receive a matching title... that tile being 'Super High School Level'!
