A number of things.

First, I want to know how many people are familiar with ninja and the shinobi world.

Second, I’m interested in increasing my knowledge when it comes to the technology on the ship.

Third, in connection with the second point, is there a way to stop others from being able to send messages to your communicator? Stopping all of them temporarily would also be acceptable.

[ Sure enough Sasuke doesn't know exactly how to take those words or what their intended meaning is, mulling them over and almost wanting to fight them. No, it wasn't entirely his choice. Itachi had been a child forced to make an impossible decision, and hadn't he been manipulated too? ]

Don't get so impatient; you're too easily riled up for a fight as it is. [ This isn't entirely accurate, but they both know it's a euphemistic way to refer to Suigetsu's real interests.

No one's asked me to fight them, yet, besides those few people that were in Ira. (accidental past tense, but they both know what happened there.) But a lot of people on the network are dicks. Do you think they wanna start something?

It doesn't matter too much what their intentions are. [ He knows what Suigetsu would like them to be and he doesn't want to allow anyone to give him an excuse. The more commotion they cause, the more eyes they'll have on them. The more attention, the harder it'll be to get out. Of that, he's convinced. ]

I don't doubt that you're too strong for most if not all of them. Defend yourself if you need to, but otherwise ignore their goading.

If they're not tough to fight, then there's no real fun in it... (not entirely true, he's been known to frequently make exceptions — and sasuke's seen all of that before.) You understand that much.

(but if sasuke needs help with that one, well. suigetsu's never needed to use hand-signs and is kind of a professional at that and chakra control now. ood, he's never really thought about it.)

Fufu, I'm not the type who has scolding for a hobby, so you shouldn't worry about my concern. I have friends of my own who are constantly worried about me, and it gets rather tiring, you know? I'm not a child, so I can handle myself. I don't need someone following me around and stopping me from every little thing I'd like to try.

Yeah but the broadness could cover something as simple as "how do I order food in the cafeteria with a touchpad" all the way to "explain the physics of space travel in application to the space ship" or something smart. I don't know, I really only kind of get the basics. And more how to use them, not why they work.

Mm, that may not be a bad idea for someone like you. I can tell that you're strong from how you hold yourself.

[And unlike Sasuke who's having immediate trouble, Eichi is used to forcing himself to relax in order to move forward. If anything, this district helps his health a little, causing his heart to not act up so quickly and to continue in slow, steady beats. He seems the same as usual as he walks, and thankfully, the little place he has in mind isn't too far in.]

There's bound to be danger again. Have you heard about the last planet we visited?

[ As if in demonstration Sasuke raises his hand, mindlessly cycling through a few hand seals he's unaccustomed to having to perform without a second. It'll be difficult... but he knew that, and the laughter actually jerks him from those thoughts. ]

It'll make a difference at the start. A lot of my fighting involving it is automatic. I'll have to retrain my subconscious too.

[ That last tidbit gets a nod of acknowledgement and filed away for later. Regardless of name, there had been an agreement made, and someone clearly didn't keep to it. But that's something to be dealt with at another time. Right now, there are more pressing matters to attend to. ]

As you said, it's a lot of information to be fed in a short period of time, and a master storyteller you are not.

You're real studious, you'll have it down in no time. (a glance over.) I guess we'll have to spar a lot. If I knew anything other than suiton, I'd have to use my hands, but I don't. Preforming the seals one-handed is supposed to be really impressive.

It isn't exactly something minor. It is rewriting and reworking their coding language. Which puts me at an advantage they weren't expecting. There are always things hidden that aren't meant to be discovered.

[He's a little solemn sounding as he says that, but he maintains his smile because he thinks that's the sort of image he should keep up with.] I wasn't on the main mission myself, since my weak body wouldn't be suited for the job, but I went with two others to investigate the fek and gather information. It was a rough start, but they turned out to be a kind people.

But before long, there were evacuation orders. I guided as many of them off of the planet as I could, since they deemed me and the other two trustworthy, but I'm afraid only a few were able to survive.
