I always thought of myself as one as well.

There isn't much one can do with such a small sample.
They could be doing tests.
Or research.
It's fair to suggest they plan on using our samples as leverage against us somehow.

probably a lot, i mean he had my whole body to leech off of and there were tubes that were always pushing water in or taking water out
kinda hard to measure something like that, especially when it's happening for a long time!
i got let out though, so it doesn't matter anymore

I have a lot of questions as to what their plans are and as to what our true purpose here is. If we can't talk to them directly, we can only make inferences based off of what they choose to do with us.
