video | un: handsome zelos
[What is the first thing that Zelos does when he realizes that these little wrist devices can communicate to everyone on the ship? That's simple.]
Yo, hunnies! [His voice sounds loud and clear across the communicators, his face also making a grinning appearance. Well, as much as this announcement might seem carefree, he's actually just fishing to see who's all on this ship. He heard there were a few groups of people in front of him at least, so who's he looking at here? He can't properly stay safe if he doesn't know the whole set up.]
Check me out! Are you seeing this, or what? Man, I look so cool, even on these little wrist bands! [His laughter sounds out, obnoxiously cheerful about this.] You guys can all hear me, right? Testing, testing, one, two, three...!
[He's probably made himself hated to more than half of the ship by now, but that's fine.] The name's Zelos Wilder, but you can just call me Zelos. ♥ We're all the unfortunate souls stuck in this screw up, right? So let's get along!
[That's his short and simple message, and with a wink, he turns the video off.]

He's either been ignored sitting there or shushed so that The Creative Process could take place, and both of these still involve him sitting there witnessing and so neither is great. He clears his throat.]
Are you through?
gasps
[Zelos is probably in the process of answering a few people, now that he's actually posted, so he's entirely forgotten about Reim until this moment. Or, that's what he's trying to make it seem like.]
Oh, yeah. [He waves his hand in the air casually, like he's not aware at all of how annoying he was just being.] I'm up and running! Heheh. Why, you want some pointers for your own broadcast?
no subject
No, that's quite alright. If I wanted to be shallow I suppose I could wink into the camera a few times, too.
no subject
Hey, hey, hey, don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful. You know, even a guy like you could get a few fans if you acted a little friendly! Come on, wanna practice?
no subject
No, thank you. I'm very friendly without help. [He says, as he
lifts his book up, to block his view of Zelos' face.]
no subject
What's with the cold shoulder? Come on, none of us want to be here! I might as well make some fun out of it, right? Right? [Agree with him!!] What're you just sitting around and reading books for, anyway?
no subject
I have plenty of things to catch up on! This is the future! Do you know the ins and outs of modern batteries?
no subject
[Because actually, this all looks very similar to Cruxis' technology. He's used their communicators, their teleporter pads, sometimes even the little machines around in the tower. He hasn't had all the time in the world to look at things, but he knows from Kratos enough to figure stuff out.]
What's got you so worried about catching up? Just leave it to the great Zelos! I'll be your teacher.
no subject
Stay with his dubious look, too, the one doubting Zelos can be a teacher of any kind. No offense.]
I've already learned about taking pictures and a few things about computers... What do you know enough about to teach?
no subject
[Let alone modern ones... Because he sure doesn't, but he's just repeating stuff! He sits up and forward a little, resting his arms over his knees as he looks at him.] I know plenty of stuff! Go ahead, ask me something. I bet I can figure it out before you can.

[This DUDE...] I do know what batteries are, thank you very much.
no subject
[He's so rude...]
no subject
I am trying to read. There isn't a "talk button" involved.

[He's still not leaving, though, and now he's leaning to peer at this book, as if he hasn't already noticed what Reim is reading.] Whatcha reading?
no subject
A book. [Now he's going to ignore this pest...!! Just kidding, this great plan lasts about five seconds before he sighs and closes the book with his finger holding the page, so the wacky space book cover can be seen.] It's about starships, but I'm finding it somewhat abstract...
no subject
Oh man, that sounds cool! Is there any spicy romance? Hot battles and daring rescues?
no subject
Strangely, yes... Perhaps it's more autobiographical than I thought? But after so many informative maps and diagrams, I was taken aback by the rest of the information.
[Reim reads a space novel and doesn't realize it because it's all in space jargon: the epic.]
no subject
[He trails off a little as he repeats that, his expression dropping just a bit as he eyes Reim. It clicks, after a second, and the next few seconds of silence are Zelos attempting to show some self control. That breaks, of course, as he snorts and leans back, covering his hand with one mouth and slapping the arm of the couch with the other.]
You can't be serious...! Oh man, that's so great, I think I'm gonna cry! [Help him, he's cruel and more familiar with space travel as an idea so he can understand space novels... Slap him, Reim.] Hold on, hold on, let me see the maps.
no subject
To be fair, all maps are hand drawn as far as he's concerned, why wouldn't these be real?] Here! What's so funny about them?
no subject
[He's starting to feel a little bad... But only a little, so it's not showing at all. He still has a couple snickers left in him as he leans over and takes a look at the map. Well, it's a well done scifi novel map... But Zelos points out two planets that look rather close together.]
Check this out. Do you see any mention of the scaling on this map? What kind of map doesn't show you how long it takes to get from one place to another? [He was also going to yell about the black hole in the corner, because who believes there's giant space holes, but thankfully he didn't go that route.]
no subject
Well, space is fairly large... [crud, he can feel his leg to stand on crumbling into oblivion already. He's failed. This isn't a textbook at all.]
no subject
Space is fairly large...!! Hahaha! [Goodbye,]
no subject
Isn't it?! What did I say?
no subject
No, no, it was just the way you said it. Space is bigger than you can imagine. Let's just leave it at that.
no subject
You make it sound like I'm somehow lacking in the capacity to understand... I'm not. It's one book. [Defensive?? Yes.]
