[ that is... quite the trick. it distracts her, trying to figure out if it's a time distortion unit or something else entirely, because whatever it is, she's got tech envy. at least she's pulled out of it with the sounds of sombra's gun, lining up her stolen plasma weapon to take out one alien trying to come around sombra's side before sprinting forward to help out in a more intimate way.
- which is to say that the plasma shots do some of the work, but carolina also winds up sending a fek to sombra's feet with a hard kick. a gift for her to finish off, naturally. it's how she integrates people into her fights, accepts them as her team, even if only for now. not that she's going to say that, of course. ]
