Right, right, shouldn't take me long to make my way down there. Should I be looking for a "Junpei" or...?
( he sets down his comm and hustles up Makkachin, ruffling the fur of his dog's head before hitting up his small fridge. he ends up pulling out a container of fried rice (it had gone reasonably well) and tossing it into the microwave. by the powers of... okay, is it even a microwave, it looks way more space future and has an interface with options that might make it talk to him and control a light or who knows; he hasn't done more than figure out that it can light up the range underneath and make food warm in far less time and effort than pots and pans manage.
he grabs a set of chopsticks; hesitates, then grabs a spoon, too, while the microwave works its magic. Makkachin wags his tail in hopeful anticipation, staring up at Victor until they're listening to the microwave chime and he's pulling out the container, hissing before he sets it back down on the small counter. right. hot food, hot container.
he checks the comm real fast to see if Junpei got back to him with a proper name, since otherwise he's calling him the Space Beer Guy. sorry not sorry? )
